I was a divorced mother of three, heading out on a date with someone whom I had never met before. I had no idea that this man would be the love of my life. But the happily ever after we had planned wasn't meant to be.
I grew up in a small midwestern town as the eldest of five children in a loving Christian household where I was
taught the value of friendship, family, community, and hard work.
This book tells the story of my journey through my husband's diagnosis of kidney failure, our desperate search for a
donor transplant, and the heartbreaking setbacks we faced along the way—juggling work schedules, attending
college, and raising our children. Yet through it all, we clung to our faith and the belief that God is always guiding us,
never giving us more than we can handle.
Please feel free to email me if you are dealing with a medical condition or just need a friend. I'd love to hear what you think of my book.
Just to see you smile,
Lynnie
